Transportation

Connects to YARTS bus (see above) in Merced to take you into Yosemite Valley.(There is no park entrance fee for visitors arriving on YARTS.) From the S.F. Bay Area and Sacramento, a train ticket costs under $50 one way ($35 during non-peak). Other discounts are offered, including AAA, U.S. military, students and seniors. No gas is sold in Yosemite Valley (except in emergencies), so fill up at Crane Flat or other locations just outside the valley. There's a full-service garage in the valley, at Yosemite Village, for vehicle repair.
